Description
A superb Royal Doulton relief moulded jug featuring characters from 'David Copperfield' by Charles Dickens. The jug is moulded as the boat which was converted into the Peggotty family home and shows David being introduced to Ham. Full Royal Doulton backstamp on the base with 'Peggotty' and registration numbers. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or restoration. Rare to find in such good order. Height 12.5cm (4.8in), length with handle 19cm (7.5in)
