Description
For sale a longcase clock two train clock movement, the maker is Thomas Mullenex of Irongate Derby 1748 to 1782 the dial is a 12 inch brass waxed coated ,the case is a ebonized solid carved oak with two brass weights and a brass pendulum bob, the movement was stripped down and serviced 18 months ago and keeps perfect time.
The sad face date does not work any more, it is a really nice looking longcase clock, Thomas Mullenex was an apprentice to John Whitehurst of Congleton Cheshire ( Derby).
It is a really nice looking longcase clock with it having the round brass dial and the ebonized oak carved case it will suit a old or modern property.
