Description

A lovely Japanese and Chinese Porcelian hand painted tea set. In need of a new home. My research shows that it is from the Meiji period between 1868-1912. There is also an Antique Asian ceramic bowl, likely Chinese Famille Rose porcelain. The mark on the base is a red seal mark, typical of Chinese porcelain from the Qing dynasty. Theres a Chinese Porcelian Teapot which features a reign mark on the bottom. The red mark on the bottom often indicates a specific dynasty or imperial period, such as the Yongzheng or Xuande periods. A Japanese Kutani Porcelain Bowl. A Chinese porcelain plate featuring a red maker's mark on the base, possibly dating to the Republic period or featuring a Qianlong mark. A Japanese hand-painted porcelain creamer pitcher, often found as part of a "Geisha" tea set from the early 20th century. It Features hand-painted Geisha girls in traditional clothing surrounded by landscape motifs. A Vintage Japanese porcelain creamer, likely part of a geisha-themed tea set featuring hand-painted designs and moriage (raised decorative detailing). It features hand painted scenes. Also a vintage Japanese porcelain creamer pitcher, likely part of a "Geisha Girl" tea set popular between the early 20th century and the 1950s. It Features hand-painted scenes of women in kimonos (Geisha) amid stylized landscapes, often accented with gold. These sets were widely exported from Japan and were sometimes inexpensive souvenir items or premiums.
Makers: Common producers included Kutani and Suzuki, though many pieces are simply marked "Made in Japan". Vintage Japanese porcelain rice bowls featuring hand-painted Geisha figures and gold trim. Multiple vintage Japanese "Geisha Girl" tea plates, likely dating from the early 20th century. The plates feature a hand-painted scene depicting geisha women in a traditional garden setting. Some similar porcelain pieces feature lithophanes—images visible only when held up to light—at the bottom of the cups. A vintage Japanese porcelain teacup, likely featuring a hand-painted landscape scene such as Mount Fuji or a similar scenic view, delicate "eggshell" porcelain or a lithophane type.
Style: Hand-painted Japanese landscape ("Sansui") or scenic pattern. Often associated with the Nippon era (1891–1921) or mid-20th-century Japanese exports.
Collectibility: Highly sought after by collectors of vintage Japanese china. An antique Japanese Satsuma tea cup, likely from the Meiji period, featuring delicate hand-painted scenes.
Material: Hand-painted porcelain or earthenware.
Design: Depicts figures in traditional attire surrounded by floral or landscape elements.
Unique Features: Often characterized by crackled glaze and gold accents. A vintage Japanese "Geisha" porcelain teapot, typically manufactured in the mid-20th century.
Design: Features delicate, hand-painted scenes, often depicting Japanese landscapes or cultural figures, accented with gold rimming. An antique Japanese eggshell porcelain pitcher, likely from the Kutani Meiji period.
Material: Delicate, translucent eggshell porcelain.
Design: Features traditional Japanese motifs, including a depiction of Mount Fuji, pine trees, and hand-painted maple leaves.
Style: The pitcher has a rustic handle designed to mimic bamboo. An antique Japanese porcelain creamer jug, likely part of a Kutani ware tea set produced in the late 19th or early 20th century.
Style: Features hand-painted traditional Japanese designs with red and gold highlights.
Material: Known for delicate, thin porcelain often referred to as "eggshell" porcelain.
Identification: Often decorated with scenes of geisha, landscapes, or floral patterns.
Context: Similar pieces are often collected for their artistic and historical value rather than daily use. Vintage Japanese porcelain tea plates ( 10 of them in total ) likely featuring Kutani-style hand-painted Geisha scenes with gold trim.
Material: Fine porcelain or bone china.
Design: Hand-painted Japanese landscape scenes with figures in colorful kimonos. There is also a Vintage hand painted Chinese Porcelian Bowl with Famille Rose Enamals. The Collection has Eggshell Porcelain. The hand painted Porcelian is stunning. There is 31 items in total and all in excellent condition. Normally I would be hesitant to ship these items due to possible damage in transit. But I'm confident, Infact I'm certain that I will make sure they won't be damaged. I've consulted a local Art and Porcelian dealer and they have given me great advice as to how to ship such delicate items. If you want to know more please feel free to message me. Thanks for your time.

Kind Regards.
