Selling an exquisite Edwardian commemorative cup & saucer
in good antique condition
'Long Live The King' referring to Edward VII succession to the throne after the death of Queen Victoria in 1901
Beautiful bright colours on the Union flag and Royal standard
The saucer is decorated with pretty forget me nots, violets and lily of the valley flowers, along with the Union and
Red Ensign flags with gold crowns
There is small mark at the bottom of the cup which was probably caused at the time of manufacture, as it
feels ingrained in the ceramic
Saucer measures approximately 6" dia and cup is
approximately 2.5" high
Pie crust detail to lip of cup and saucer edge with gold detail which has very slightly rubbed due to age
A beautiful rare example of commemorative ceramics in
superb condition for age
