This collectable vintage Singer 99K sewing machine, with the serial number K10868362, was manufactured between 1939 and 1940 (according to AI but other sites seem to indicate it’s from the early 1950’s so I can’t guarantee which info is correct). This is the number on the motor - can’t find any other number on the machine itself. Serial numbers starting with the letter K denote that it was manufactured at the Kilbowie factory in Scotland.
The plate on the motor states the Cat reference as BZK 12-12.
There is an imprint of SINGER 3368(1?) 20 on the base of the machine. I have no idea what this means.
It is in very good condition, as shown in the photographs, but has not been electrically tested. The case is in reasonable condition.
