Description
Bohemian "custard" opaline glass, a specific opaque variety of uranium glass popular between 1880 and 1910. The milky, pale-greenish-yellow hue comes directly from adding uranium dioxide to the molten glass batch. This specific composition is highly sought after because it reacts intensely to a 395nm uv blacklight, emitting an unmistakable, bright neon-green fluorescence.
