Beautiful 1940s Art Deco style Aluminium Hawker Dressing Table, this piece is in superb condition for its age, with its rivets, curves and detailing and has had only 2 owners. The dressing table has seven easy-moving drawers with bakelite handles, with a large round mirror that is fully adjustable and can be tilted.
Hawker aircraft ltd were a large manufacturer of aircraft through the 1920's 30's and 40's and during this period they also produced a range of bedroom furniture which was often used on RAF bases across Europe. Dimensions

In the 1940s, the British aircraft manufacturer Hawker built aluminium furniture, which was also used in aircraft to use empty production capacity. The Hawker Coiffeuse features a surface made of thin, riveted aluminium sheet. The dressing table has seven easy-moving drawers with green bakelite handles. This vintage item is not damaged, but may show minor signs of wear.
