Antique Wooden Box with Brass Inlay – Fair Condition
Stockbridge, Edinburgh
1 / 10
Description
Lovely antique wooden box with beautiful brass inlay details.
One of a kind. It's in fair condition for its age, showing some wear and tear on the wood and brass.
The interior has some staining and marks, but it's still a charming piece. Provenance unknown, but a quick google search for 'John Scarth' shows that he might well have been a Scottish merchant/clergyman living in China.
Perfect for decorative storage or as a unique display item.
