Description
The kettle dates from mid-late 19th century. It is made of copper, as was the style of the day, mainly for its efficient heat conduction.
It will need some tlc and repairs to return it to its former glory. The spout has come off which will need reaffixing and at some point in its life someone has put tape over the lid. I'm not sure why as the lid fits perfectly, but there are bits of tape and tape marks stuck on around the top.
