This is a lovely early 20th century antique Edwardian Derbyshire beech nursing chair / occasional chair in good, clean condition. Constructed from solid beech wood, this dining chair would be perfect for a hallway, in a living room or on a landing. Featuring the spindle back, turned legs and embossed shell panel which adds so much character to the piece. Characterised by its unique design, this occasional chair certainly as a story to tell. There are a few age related marks here and there as expected. This chair has so much history, it spent most of its life in a manor house near Alfreton.
