Description
This is an antique mahogany table in Sheraton style from the early 20thC.
The circular top is veneered with a single leaf of figured mahogany and is crossbanded in Kingwood with boxwood lines, the edge is veneered to match. The table is supported on square tapering legs inlaid with satinwood / boxwood / ebony bands and united by the inlaid frieze rail and the lower shelf brackets.
Condition, is good, the table is clean and strong, The castors all turn freely. There are minor marks commensurate with age and careful use but generally nothing untoward.
An elgant small table, beautifully made in choice timbers.
