For sale is an antique French Napoleon III original Boulle marquetry credenza / display cabinet, dating to the 19th century, with ebonised body, black marble top, gilt-bronze mounts, and glazed front doors.

This is a highly decorative and substantial cabinet with classic Boulle features, including brass marquetry decoration against a rich red ground, gilt mounts, and an architectural form with a marble top and shelved interior. It works equally well as a display cabinet, side cabinet, or statement piece in a traditional or eclectic interior.

Important: this cabinet has been confirmed by Christie’s as an original Boulle cabinet.
