Rare Art Deco period 1920-1930s glass display cupboard: originally a cocktail cabinet or drink cabinet, but can be used as bookshelves
- British furniture, made in England
- 4 shelves
- Solid oak wood. Walnut color. Beautifully carved
- Nice vintage patina. Great overall condition
- Brand new lock with 2 keys
- 86.5cm (W) x 126.5cm (H) x 29cm (D)
- Double astragal glazed doors with wooden muntins (curved wood strips across the glass)
- The carved detailing at the top and on the corners also hints at that transitional style—somewhere between late Victorian heaviness and later, more streamlined Art Deco
- The ball or spheric feet with fluted carving are a nod to earlier Georgian furniture but were revived in the early 20th century Art deco period
