🤎 A Delightfully Charming Antique English Victorian 'Norman S.H.' Oval Serving Platter 42cms 🤎

This stunning antique Victorian serving platter is at least 133 years old. (Circa 1858-1891) It is absolutely stunning, and although it does show signs of its age such as generalised light discolouration, heavy wear to the gilt work and delicate crazing to the glaze (all over the piece), it does somewhat add to the nostalgic charm of this gorgeous, old serving platter. The platter does not have any chips or cracks at all, and the crazing to the glaze does not affect the integrity of this piece at all. It is a sound, solid piece.

It was made in England by Samson Hancock (S.H.) and is "Norman Transferware." It dates back to the 'Aesthetic Movement' from the English Victorian period. It features a brown/orangey floral design set on a cream-coloured ceramic background.
