Description
This used set of tools for the Hoover Model 375 Upright Vacuum Cleaner dates from the 1930s - while we don’t have the cleaner itself, the box which is very solid and has its original working catch, would make a fantastic decorative item or a great prop for theatre or television productions.
The Hoover Model 375 is an upright vacuum cleaner from the Hoover Junior series, produced at the Hoover Perivale factory from 1936-39 and again from 1945-50. It is known for its iconic “It beats as it sweeps as it cleans!” slogan. Post-war models included a self-levelling device and wider front wheels than pre-war versions.
