Japanese Meiji-style or Chinese lacquered screen panel featuring shibayama / mother-of-pearl / bone inlay depicting birds.
This is damaged which is why it’s so cheap needs restoration think they see for £1000 + at auction. I have had it for years and finally selling stuff I no longer use.
It looks great in a room against a white wall as decoration.
Damage as seen in the photos: bone missing from the bird scene. One of the top pieces which come out has cracked and been repaired also the slot it goes into is damaged.
