This is a Marshall AVT20 from the Valvestate 2000 “AVT” series – part of the final generation before the line was discontinued. These hybrid combos are becoming harder to find, especially in full working order. This particular unit has been custom painted white, giving it a unique look – and making it even more of a rarity.

The AVT20 uses a genuine ECC83 (12AX7) valve in the preamp section, combined with a solid-state power stage. It gives you classic Marshall warmth and dynamic response, with the convenience and reliability of a solid-state amp.

Unlike fully valve amps, this one delivers full, rich tone even at reasonable home volumes – ideal for practice without upsetting the neighbours.

Condition:

* Fair cosmetic condition – painted white years ago, and looks a bit battered but still decent overall. There’s a small puncture in the front speaker cloth, purely cosmetic.

* Fully working – no issues with sound or electronics. It still performs brilliantly.
