Here we have a 1959 AJS Model 16C Competition Trials sidecar outfit, fitted with a new Watsonian Competition sidecar, making this a very smart and usable classic setup. A Genuine competition machine!!!
This is a proper period-style trials outfit with the right stance and plenty of character. The torquey Matchless single pulls well and suits sidecar work perfectly, and the Watsonian Competition sidecar really completes the look. The bike and sidecar present very well overall and have clearly been put together with care, without being overdone.
It runs and rides as it should and would be ideal for classic trials events, displays, or just as an interesting vintage sidecar outfit to enjoy. These competition Matchless sidecar outfits are getting harder to find, especially ready to go like this.
A nice, honest example of a 1959 Model 16C Competition Trials sidecar outfit, and a great opportunity to buy something a bit different.
