Description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting for a Grounds Operative to join the team at Fawley. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the team to deliver grounds maintenance services to the client in a safe responsible manner.

Responsibilities and daily activities:

Using petrol powered gardening machinery to control vegetation on the various site locations we work

Using chemicals for vegetation control

Manual handling

Driving vans and tractors

General maintenance and upkeep of tools/equipment

Completing computer based training and courses using laptop computer

Working in a safe responsible manner

Being involved in tool box talks and safety discussions

Adhering to procedures and safe working practices on site

Qualifications and Experience

Some computer knowledge

Knowledge of petrol powered garden equipment.

Experience of working in a team

Experience of outdoor work in inclement weather

Experience of petrol gardening equipment

Desirable:

Herbicide application ticket

Chainsaw ticket

Working in an industrial setting
