Cemetery Grounds Operative - North West London

We are currently looking for a hardworking, reliable, and respectful Cemetery Grounds Operative to join a dedicated team maintaining a well-established cemetery site in North West London.

This is a varied outdoor role suited to someone with experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or outdoor operational work who takes pride in maintaining high standards and working with professionalism and sensitivity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting with grave excavation and preparation

- Back-filling graves using manual and mechanical equipment

- Grass cutting, hedge trimming, planting, pruning, and weed control

- Grounds maintenance and landscaping duties

- Memorial preparation and cleaning (full training provided)

- Operating tools, machinery, vehicles, and light plant equipment

- Maintaining clean, safe, and organised working areas

- Providing respectful assistance and guidance to visitors and bereaved families

Requirements:

- Previous grounds maintenance or landscaping experience is essential

- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

- Experience using powered tools and machinery

- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices

- Reliable, physically fit, and able to work as part of a team

- Professional and respectful communication skills

- Full UK driving licence required

Please note: Candidates without xjnqpsq relevant grounds maintenance/landscaping experience and a valid UK driving licence will not be considered for this role.
