Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and fully qualified
Electrician
to support a 3-week shopfitting project. The role involves carrying out basic electrical fit-out works as part of a wider installation team. You’ll be responsible for connecting and commissioning electrical components, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out electrical installation and basic fit-out works within a retail/shopfitting environment.
Perform connection works, including lighting, power, and associated fixtures.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and site plans.
Work safely and effectively alongside joiners, shopfitters, and other trades.
Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and on-site safety procedures.
Report progress and any issues to the site supervisor.
Requirements
Fully qualified electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
ECS card
preferred
but
not essential
.
Must have full PPE (boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, etc.).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Previous shopfitting or commercial fit-out experience beneficial.
Contract Details
Duration: 3 weeks
Hours: 10 hours per day (flexible)
Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience
