LGR Programme Manager - IT & Data

Description

My Local Authority client in Greater London / the south is looking to appoint talented LGR Programme Manager for IT & Data on a Contract basis.

The role is responsible for leading the planning, coordination and delivery of service systems transition activity within an assigned thematic area as part of the Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programme.

About the role:

Based in London (Hybrid - 2-3 days on site):

Working across services, IT & Data teams, suppliers and programme stakeholders, the postholder will ensure systems are assessed, prioritised and transitioned in a controlled manner to support safe, legal and operationally effective services from Vesting Day

Accountable for mobilising and coordinating subject matter experts, business analysts and delivery teams to understand system requirements, identify dependencies, develop implementation plans, manage risks and oversee progress through to completion.

Deliver and maintain Service Systems transition plans and implementation roadmaps for assigned service areas

Delivery and maintain System readiness assessments and implementation plans to support Vesting Day requirements.About you:

You will have the following experiences:

Proven experience in complex programme management and service development, ideally in an LGR context.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, across all levels of Local Government.

Demonstrable successes in complex transformation programmes.

Deep understanding of Local Government IT, Applications, Data and DDaT.What's on offer:

Salary: £700 per day, inside IR35

Hybrid Working

Contract type: Contract

Hours: 09:00 -17:00 Monday to Friday
