Description

Joiner, Central Belt with some travel to the Boarders and Dundee, £18.00 to £20.00 per hour DOE + Travel time, no fuel costs, New company van, Constant OT available paid at x1.5

Responsibilities

* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (paid 40 hours per week)

* Engineers must arrive on site by 8:00am

* Carry out reactive maintenance and repair works, including:

* Emergency response tasks

* Lock changes

* Fire door inspections and repairs

* Door closers, hinges, and adjustments

* Window adjustments

* Box guttering maintenance

* Removal and replacement of faulty fire strips

* General finishing and shuttering works

* Work across a mobile patch (primarily Central Belt, with occasional work in Aberdeen, Perth, and Dundee)

* Accurately log all jobs using a PDA system

* Ensure all work is recorded with detailed notes and photographic evidence upon completion xjnqpsq

* Operate across a variety of sites:

* 95% commercial and retail (including shopping centres)

* 5% student accommodation, social housing, and domestic properties

Requirements

* Full UK driving licence (licence check required)

* Time-served engineer

* Reliable and capable of working independently

* Own tools required

* Strong attention to detail for accurate reporting and documentation
