Job Title: Facilities Manager

Trust: Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust

Location: Kingsley Green, Harper Lane, Shenley, Radlett, Hertfordshire, WD7 9HQ

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm

Pay Rate: £17.13

Are you a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment in line with National Health Service standards.

Job Duties

* Manage daily facilities operations (cleaning, waste, maintenance, security)

* Ensure buildings are safe, compliant, and well maintained

* Coordinate contractors and service providers

* Monitor service quality and resolve issues quickly

* Support health & safety, fire safety, and infection control compliance

* Handle site logistics including portering and transport

* Investigate incidents and implement improvements

* Maintain records, reports, and basic budget control

What you’ll need:

* Degree or equivalent experience in Facilities Management or estates management

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

* Strong understanding of HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBN (Health Building Notes) guidance

* Ability to manage multiple services and priorities

* Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills

* Understanding of health & safety and compliance
