A well-established and highly respected environmental consultancy is looking to recruit an Ecologist to join its growing team based in Shaftsbury. Working across a diverse portfolio of planning, development and infrastructure projects, the company is known for delivering practical, high-quality ecological advice while maintaining a strong focus on conservation and client service.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist seeking a supportive environment with genuine career development. The successful Ecologist will work on a variety of projects, carrying out field surveys, ecological assessments and technical reporting while liaising with clients and project teams. The Ecologist will also contribute to mitigation strategies, protected species work and project delivery across the region. The role is based in Shaftsbury with a mix of office, site and flexible working.

Degree in Ecology or a related discipline

Previous UK ecological consultancy experience

Strong ecological survey and report writing skills

Full UK driving licence

Full right to work in the UK

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the office

Excellent communication and organisational skills
