The Role

Our client, a respected environmental and sustainability consultancy, is looking to recruit an Ecologist to support their growing ecology team in the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for an ecologist with consultancy experience who is looking to broaden their skillset and progress their career within a multidisciplinary organisation.

You will be involved in a wide range of ecological projects, supporting senior staff while taking increasing responsibility for survey work and report writing.

Key Responsibilities

Undertaking a range of ecological surveys, including PEAs and protected species surveys

Assisting with UKHab surveys and biodiversity assessments

Producing high-quality technical reports and survey outputs

Supporting project delivery and working to agreed timescales

Liaising with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders xjnqpsq

Supporting junior team members where appropriate

About You

Degree in Ecology or a related discipline

2-4 years' experience in ecological consultancy

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Working towards or holding CIEEM membership

Protected species survey experience desirable

Full UK driving licence
