Description
My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Director of Local Government Reorganisation on a Contract basis.
This role provide strategic direction and leadership for the Local Government Reorganisation portfolio of programmes
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Greater London (remote):
Ensure a safe, legal and well-planned transition to the new operating model, minimising service disruption and maintaining a focus on improved outcomes and long-term sustainability.
Lead and develop the system Portfolio Management Office and coordinate all programmes and workstreamsworkstreams.
Set and maintain the strategic roadmaproadmap, critical path and milestones.
Build effective working relationships with Leaders, Members and Chief Executives.About you:
You will have the following experiences:
Extensive experience delivering Local Government transformation / reorganisation.
Deep PMOPMO experience, including set up and delivery.
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
Local Authority experience is essential.What's on offer:
Salary: £1,000+ per day, inside IR35IR35*negotiable based on experience
