Description
Based in Maidenhead, you will join a successful and well established mortgage firm, voted Mortgage Firm of the Year 2022.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Mortgage Advisor.
This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within mortgage advice. Full training and development will be provided, with a clear progression path.
Within 2 to 3 years, the successful applicant will be supported through their Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) exams, the industry recognised professional qualification.
Salary 19,500 to 23,000 depending on experience, with increases as you progress through training and qualifications. Once qualified, high rates of commission are payable.
Duties
Administering mortgage applications through to offer stage Establishing and maintaining relationships with Estate Agency introducers Researching mortgage products and placing cases with lenders Progressing to telephoning warm leads and booking appointments Eventually carrying out mortgage and protection appointments and arranging mortgages Skills and experience required
Educated to a good academic standard, graduate level candidates are preferred, however applicants with a minimum of two strong A levels or equivalent will also be considered Bright, enthusiastic, outgoing and personable Motivated to work to targets Able to work in a regulated, compliant and pressurised environment Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
