Description

Third Party Property Damage (TPPD) Claims Handler

Location: Remote (occasional travel to Birmingham HQ for training and team collaboration)

Division: Claims Management

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Salary: Competitive + performance bonus + exceptional benefits

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and motivated TPPD Claims Handler to join our expanding Claims Management division.

In this pivotal role, you'll take full ownership of a caseload of third-party property damage (TPPD) claims - investigating, negotiating, and resolving cases arising from motor and liability incidents. From first notification through to settlement, you'll ensure every claim is managed efficiently, fairly, and in line with regulatory standards, client expectations, and company values.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a respected, forward-thinking business where your expertise, judgement, and customer focus will directly influence client satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and investigate a portfolio of TPPD claims from start to finish.

Conduct thorough analysis of liability, quantum, and recovery prospects.

Engage proactively with claimants, insurers, brokers, and repair networks to achieve swift and fair settlements.

Provide clear communication and updates throughout the claims journey.

Ensure adherence to SLA, KPI, and regulatory standards, including TCF principles.

Identify and escalate complex or high-value cases appropriately.

Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing insights, feedback, and process suggestions with colleagues.

About you:

You're an analytical, customer-focused claims professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You balance empathy and efficiency - delivering excellent service while protecting company interests.

You'll bring:

At least 2 years' experience handling TPPD or liability claims.

Solid understanding of motor and liability claim principles.

Exceptional communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Strong IT proficiency and attention to detail.

The ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing remote team.

A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a commitment to continual learning.

Cert CILA / Cert CII qualification (or a willingness to work towards it).

Benefits:

With our Client, you'll be part of an award-winning team that's passionate about delivering market-leading claims solutions. We invest in our people, embrace innovation, and empower every colleague to make a difference.

Our benefits include:

Competitive salary + performance-related bonus

Enhanced contributory pension

Flexible benefits and hybrid working

Enhanced family leave

Electric car scheme

Voluntary benefits and employee rewards platform

Birthday holiday

Share purchase scheme (with interest-free loans)

If you're looking to take the next step in your claims career - with a company that values technical excellence, integrity, and innovation - we'd love to hear from you.
