Overview

A long-established and highly regarded Chartered Accountancy firm with a great team culture and loyal client base is looking for a new Tax professional to enhance their tax department. The position will offer varied and hands-on work, focused on individuals, trusts, and high-net-worth clients.

You'll enjoy a blend of compliance and advisory work (across IHT, CGT, Income Tax and more), direct client contact, and opportunities to expand your technical knowledge through mentoring and practical experience.

Salary will be competitive depending on experience & qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

Prepare and review personal tax, IHT and CGT returnsProvide advisory support across IHT, CGT, Income Tax and TrustsSupport senior staff on SDLT, Payroll Tax and business tax mattersLiaise directly with clients, managing your own portfolioResearch technical tax queries and assist with planning projectsWork with high-net-worth individuals, Underwriters and TrustsMentor junior colleagues or develop your own skills (depending on level)Handle HMRC correspondence and maintain accurate client recordsWhat we're looking for

This role would suit someone with a solid grounding in UK accountancy practice who is either ready to move into a more advisory-focused role or keen to build their technical experience with a trusted, well-supported team.
