Prepare and reconcile service charge accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Maintain accurate financial records related to service charges.Respond to queries from stakeholders regarding service charge matters.Assist with audits and provide required documentation.Collaborate with property managers to ensure budgets are effectively managed.Ensure timely and accurate invoicing of service charges.Monitor and manage arrears related to service charges.Provide regular financial reports to relevant teams.Profile
A successful Service Charge Accountant should have:
Previous experience as a service charge accountant or in accounting or finance roles, ideally within service charge accounting.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficiency in financial software and Excel.Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Job Offer
