About the Senior Private Banker Role

We are seeking a proven Senior Private Banker to join our client s growing private banking team as part of an ambitious five-year expansion plan. This is a high-impact client-facing role for an experienced banker who can independently originate, acquire, and grow high-value client relationships without reliance on a large lead generation team.

The primary focus of the role is new business acquisition while maintaining exceptional client service standards that have positioned our client s bank as a leader in client satisfaction and net promoter score. You will join an organisation investing in marketing, technology, and an enhanced product suite to extend its presence across the UK wealth market.

Senior Private Banker - Key Responsibilities

Identify, originate, and acquire new High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients, driving consistent growth in assets under management and revenue. Develop and execute a personal business plan that outlines client acquisition targets over one, two, and three years. Provide straightforward and transparent investment advice, focusing on passive investments and tracker funds, and leverage the bank's lending and investment capabilities. Maintain and grow a personal book of clients through exceptional service, referrals, and targeted business development activities. Uphold the bank's client-first approach, ensuring every interaction reflects trust, transparency, and long-term relationship building. Collaborate closely with internal product, investment, and credit teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Senior Private Banker - Requirements

Extensive experience in private banking or wealth management, ideally with a long tenure at a single institution. Proven track record as a rainmaker, with an existing book of clients or consistent success in generating new business. Comfortable advising on simple and transparent investment products rather than complex structured instruments. Strong understanding of lending and investment relationship management. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed without dependence on a high-volume lead generation machine.
