Portfolio Payroll are currently working with a brilliant organisation in the Cheshire area who are currently recruiting for a Senior Payroll Administrator to join their team. Working for an established firm that delivers back office software and solutions to clients.

Key Objectives:

Working within a larger team to ensure accurate and timely in-house payroll production for various clientsExcellent Service deliveryEnd to End PayrollMaintain working knowledge and understanding of current statutory regulations

Key Duties/Tasks:

This role will be varied over numerous clients with the main focus on client relationships and customer careMonth end & year-end returns & balancingPerform manual calculations as & when requiredKnowledge of statutory & legislative regulationsAbility to communicate at all levelsUnderstand the payroll deadlines & requirementsClear & concise communication, both written & verbalAbility to work on own & within part of a teamKnowledge of UK Tax legislation

Desirable skills and attributes:

You will have had previous payroll experience ideally in client payrollA keen eye for detailEnjoy working within a teamPersonable and keen candidate with a positive outlookAbility to supervise in managers absenceExcellent communicator as you will be answering queriesMust have strong ExcelCIPP Payroll qualification or be willing to attainAt least two years knowledge of working in a multi frequency payroll environment
