An exciting new role has become available within the finance team of a well-established and highly regarded property organisation based in Liverpool. Working from new and impressive offices towards Liverpool Central, you will be reporting directly to a Financial Controller who champions professional development and progression.

My client is seeking a talented and proactive Senior Accountant to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic finance team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional to contribute to a forward-thinking finance team and play a key role in driving business performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records related to property management, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role is vital in supporting the financial health of property portfolios and will involve collaboration with various departments to streamline financial processes.

Key Duties:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for property portfolios, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standardsManage day to day financials within an internal CRMManagement of monthly payment runsConduct monthly reconciliations of client accounts and assist in compliance reviewsProduction of quarterly NRL returns and annual statementsUtilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft to manage financial data effectivelyLiaise with property management team re complex queriesCollaborate with property management teams to address any financial discrepancies or concernsAssist in preparation of scheme profitabilityReview and reconciliation of supplier accounts alongside property team About you:

Working towards becoming fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc. You bring previous management accountancy experience, property experience is preferred though not essentialYou have experience preparing management accounts, performing variance analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processesYou have excellent business partnering skills and enjoy working collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to support performance and decision-makingYou are proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations, reconciliations, and reporting tasks Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
