An established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Lowestoft is seeking a talented Qualified Accountant to join its leadership team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced practice professional who is looking to take on greater responsibility, build lasting client relationships, and ultimately progress to Partner.

The Role

Working closely with senior leadership, you will manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and provide trusted advice on a broad range of accounting and business matters. The successful candidate will play an important role in both client delivery and the future growth of the practice.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectorsReviewing statutory accounts and related compliance workProviding taxation and business advisory supportActing as a trusted adviser to business owners and directorsSupporting and mentoring junior team membersIdentifying opportunities to strengthen and develop client relationshipsContributing to the strategic growth and development of the practiceAbout You

You will ideally have:

ACA or ACCA qualificationRecent experience within an accountancy practice environmentStrong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and reviewExperience managing client relationships and delivering high levels of serviceExcellent communication and commercial awarenessLeadership potential and the ambition to progress into a future partner roleApplications are welcomed from experienced Managers, Senior Managers, Client Managers, Portfolio Managers and ambitious Qualified Accountants looking for the next step in their career.
