The ideal candidate will be a detail-focused, self-motivated individual with strong purchase ledger and bookkeeping experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work confidently to monthly deadlines.Purchase Ledger ControllerPermanentSalary: Dependent on experienceWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.45, early finish on Friday Location: Coventry Purchase Ledger Controller Job Description Administer the purchase ledger, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and payments are made within agreed termsReconcile invoices against delivery notes and purchase orders, completing monthly supplier statement reconciliationsPrepare and process supplier payments, including BACS payment runs and purchase summariesSupport the Finance Manager and Head of Finance & IT, including deputising when required and contributing to team prioritiesMaintain accurate financial records, support system improvements, and contribute to continuous process improvement Purchase Ledger Controller Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications Degree preferred or a minimum of 3 years' relevant finance or bookkeeping experienceProven experience managing a purchase ledger and supplier accountsStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a teamExcellent time management skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlinesHighly self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently Benefits 27 days holiday + bank holiday Competitive pension scheme Annual bonus
