Scope to develop/ Clear progression opportunities.This isn't a traditional senior accountant position; it's a pivotal, hands-on leadership opportunity within an established and well-regarded practice, backed by a Top 40 UK accountancy firm.If you thrive in a role that balances hands-on work, with mentoring, leadership and operational influence, this is could be the role for you!What the Role Involves:Hands-On Leadership: Work directly alongside the Directors, supporting the day-to-day leadership and operation of the office.Workflow Management: Manage workflow and deadlines across accounts, bookkeeping, and tax, overseeing the team's output.Client Engagement: Lead client meetings, handle advisory conversations, and support new business enquiries and proposals.Mentorship: Support and mentor the team, supervising and developing talent.Requirements:ACA or ACCA qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years' recent experience within UK accountancy practice.Confident reviewing statutory accounts and managing client relationships.
