Southampton - 12-Month FTC - Hybrid

VIQU has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to find a motivated PMO Specialist to support their busy Change function. This 12-month opportunity involves driving project governance, ensuring adherence to change management standards, and providing actionable insights to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a confident team player with financial services experience who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities of the PMO Specialist:

Contribute to and maintain Change Management governance, processes, tools, and methodologies.Assist Project Managers in following frameworks and best practices, escalating issues as required.Support deployment of the Change Management Framework and provide guidance to stakeholders.Monitor programme and project progress, budgets, risks, and compliance.Track and report on governance, financial trends, and post-project review actions.Administer project management tools, ensuring accuracy, optimising functionality, and promoting best practice.Foster a culture of progress and adaptability across the Change community.Build strong relationships with project teams and senior stakeholders, maintaining positivity under pressure. Key Requirements of the PMO Specialist:

Minimum 5 years experience in a Project Management Office or as a project professional within Financial Services, Wealth, or Asset Management.Strong experience supporting Change Management or PMO functions.Confident working independently in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Intermediate Excel skills required; Power BI skills preferred.Comfortable leveraging AI tools where appropriate.Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
