Duties & Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of personal tax, confidently delivering tax compliance and independently handling tax issues. Providing expert advisory services on all tax matters including inheritance tax, estate planning and capital gains tax. Process P11D forms, employment related securities (ERS), and ATED returns. Reviewing compliance work and tax computations of team members. Leading a team of tax experts, training and developing trainees and ensuring workloads and timelines are managed. Manage your own and team's projects and responsible for your budget. Liaising with Senior Managers and partners about client queries and updates. Maintaining professional relationships with clients and HMRC. Involved in business development and networking with new and current clients. Requirements

Must be ATT qualified/ideally CTA qualified with circa 4-5 years working in tax. Personal tax and compliance experience is essential. Advisory experience is desirable. You will have an excellent understanding of up-to-date UK legislation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is essential to liaise and be the first point of contact with clients, HMRC and staff. Strong technical skills and proficiency in tax & accountancy software (ideally exposure to IRIS). Experience managing and developing a tax team, running training sessions, ensuring workloads are balanced and deadlines are met.
