Payroll transformation project manager

Liverpool

£200 - £250 per day

Main Responsibilities

Lead the project management of the Payroll Transformation Programme, ensuring all activity is planned, tracked and delivered in line with agreed objectives, milestones and governance arrangements.

Lead project governance, planning, reporting, risk management and stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams, providing reporting updates for the Group HR Director and relevant steering groups.

Lead and coordinate project activity to support the transition of approximately 450 employees from weekly to monthly pay.

Lead the project management of the review, enhancement, testing and roll out of the Time and Attendance system.

Coordinate multiple workstreams, dependencies and stakeholder inputs to support delivery of the transformation programme.

Identify risks, issues and barriers to delivery, escalating appropriately and recommending practical solutions.

Work collaboratively across Payroll, HR, Finance, IT, Learning and Development, Operations and employee representative groups to ensure business readiness and effective implementation.

Build trusted and constructive relationships with Trade Union representatives at national, regional and local level.

Organise and support consultation and engagement with affected employee groups and Trade Unions, ensuring communications are clear, timely, consistent and inclusive. Prepare consultation and supporting materials. xjnqpsq
