What will the Payroll Supervisor / Manager role involve?

Managing and processing end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basisOverseeing CIS submissions and processingSupervising and supporting a small, experienced payroll teamManaging RTI and pension submissions, ensuring compliance with HMRC and auto-enrolment legislationActing as the first point of contact for client payroll queries and delivering a high standard of serviceKeeping up to date with payroll legislation changes and implementing them as requiredSupporting the onboarding of new clients and ensuring smooth payroll transitionsWorking closely with other departments to ensure cohesive client service Suitable Candidate for the Payroll Supervisor / Manager vacancy:

Strong payroll experience within a bureau or multi-client environment is essentialPrevious supervisory or management experience is desirable, but experienced senior payroll professionals ready for the next step will also be consideredKnowledge of CIS processing is advantageousExcellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingConfident communicator with a strong client-service focusUp-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislationExperience using payroll software (e.g., Sage Payroll, BrightPay, or similar) Additional benefits and information for the role of Payroll Supervisor / Manager:
