Payroll Manager

Transaction Recruitment are supporting a market-leading business based in Lichfield, in their search for an experienced Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This is a standalone role, taking full ownership of the payroll for c.800 employees. This position offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

Processing the end-to-end payroll for c.800 employees, accurately and on time Managing starters, leavers and contractual changes, including variations to pay Calculating and processing overtime, statutory pay, bonuses and other additions and deductions Ensuring PAYE, National Insurance and other statutory deductions are applied correctly Handling HMRC submissions and year-end reporting Administering pensions auto-enrolment and benefit deductions Carrying out payroll reconciliations and checks, and producing reports for Finance Responding to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally Keeping up to date with legislative changes and maintaining accurate payroll records If you re looking for an opportunity where you can manage the payroll independently, this position offers real ownership and visibility within a friendly business.
