You'll collaborate with recruitment consultants, candidates, and clients to resolve queries and ensure precise processing of all information within tight deadlines.
Your working hours will be 9:00 to 16:30 on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Enjoy hybrid flexibility: work from home on Mondays, and join the team in the Oldbury office on Tuesdays and Fridays. This is a permanent, part-time position, with a pro rata salary of GBP15,900 per annum (based on a full-time equivalent of GBP26,500).
ResponsibilitiesProcess weekly payroll information efficiently and within deadlinesCheck and process candidate timesheetsChase outstanding and unauthorised timesheetsLiaise with schools, candidates, and consultants regarding timesheet queriesRespond to candidate payroll and pay enquiriesCheck hours, rates, and payroll details for accuracyMaintain accurate payroll and candidate recordsUpdate information on internal CRM and systemsLiaise with umbrella companies and external payroll providers as neededIdentify and resolve discrepancies before payroll deadlinesProduce and check payroll reportsSupport the wider administration and recruitment team where requiredEnsure confidential payroll and personal information is handled appropriatelySkills and ExperiencePrevious experience in payroll, finance, or administrationExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong numerical and IT skillsGood working knowledge of Microsoft ExcelExcellent communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines under pressureConfident in dealing with queries via telephone and emailCapability to work both independently and collaborativelyExperience in recruitment, temporary staffing, or weekly payroll is advantageous (training will be provided if needed)About the TeamYou will be joining a friendly, expanding team focused exclusively on the education sector, working with a wide range of schools and settings across the West Midlands.
