Payroll Administrator

Swadlincote

Permanent part-time (18-25 hours - negotiable )

£36,000 (FTE)

Eaton Syalon have been exclusively engaged to recruit a part-time Payroll Administrator to join our client in Swadlincote. We are keen to speak to you if you are a tenured Payroll individual, keen to find your next part-time Payroll opportunity.

Reporting to the Finance Director you will hold responsibility for all Payroll related activities including:

* Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of the payroll system including new starters, leavers, contractual changes, attachment of earnings orders, tax code changes, payroll benefits etc

* Oversee weekly submission of timesheets and resolving any queries that may arise

* Compile and maintain the monthly master timesheet, reconciling with monthly payroll changes totals

* Dealing with any payroll queries in a timely manner, escalating any issues arising when necessary

* Timely production of scheduled and ad-hoc payroll reports, including compilation of monthly payroll costing

* Produce accurate annual P11D’s and associated reporting for submission to HMRC

* Administrative support to Group HR & Payroll Manager

Person Profile:

* Proven experience in a similar Payroll position, ideally within a fast-paced environment which must be end-to-end exposure

* Strong IT and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

* A flexible and well-organised approach xjnqpsq to work, with excellent attention to detail

* Sound knowledge of payroll administration and reporting

* High level of communication skills and experience of interacting with staff at all levels

* Experience of working with payroll systems; SAP experience would be advantageous

This is a part-time role which offers flexibility around the hours and days worked, however flexibility will be needed around payroll deadlines.

Please note - the role will be on-site based in Swadlincote
