REED Practice are actively recruiting on behalf of a Practice Director and firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers based near Ringwood, Dorset, serving businesses across the local area including Bournemouth and surrounding regions.

My client is a small, boutique accounting firm (5 members of staff) that provides a personalised, client-focused service to a broad range of businesses, from start-ups to established companies.

Part Qualified Accountant

Full Time (Flexible, hybrid working)

Salary (Depending on Experience - up to GBP40k)

The position

The role involves supporting the preparation of accounts, tax returns, and management information for a portfolio of clients, while continuing professional studies (ACA/ACCA). This is an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills within a supportive, client-focused environment.Prepare year-end statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companiesAssist in the preparation of management accounts and financial reportsPost and reconcile journals, accruals, and prepaymentsRequired Skills & Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in general practice accountancy, including bookkeeping and payroll services.Comprehensive and up-to-date technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Proficient in Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage accounting software.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
