Liverpool City Centre Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)Salary: Competitive and Dependent on ExperienceContract: Full-time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)

Due to continued business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paraplanner to join a growing and client-focused Financial Planning practice based in Liverpool City Centre.

We're looking for someone who enjoys the technical side of financial planning and can play a key role in supporting advisers and clients. This position will suit an individual who is equally comfortable carrying out detailed research and report writing, whilst also being willing to assist with day-to-day administrative tasks to support the wider team.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

Conducting technical research across pensions, investments and financial planning solutionsAssisting with the preparation of suitability reports and recommendation documentsAnalysing client information and supporting advisers with case preparationPreparing client meeting packs and documentationManaging post-meeting actions and follow-up activitiesLiaising with providers and third partiesProviding administrative support where required to ensure a seamless client experienceWorking collaboratively with advisers and support staff across the businessAbout You

We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and experience levels. The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience within Financial Services, ideally in a Paraplanning, Technical Support or Financial Planning support roleStrong technical knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planningExcellent attention to detail and analytical skillsA proactive and positive approach to workStrong organisational and communication abilitiesA willingness to support both technical and administrative aspects of the roleA team-oriented mindset and strong work ethicQualifications

Professional qualifications are not essential.

Applications are welcomed from candidates who are not currently qualified but have developed strong technical knowledge through practical industry experience. Personality, attitude, teamwork and technical capability are considered just as important as formal qualifications.
