Management Accountant Manufacturing (Nottingham, Full-Time, Permanent) If you thrive in a collaborative environment, possess a proactive approach, and have experience in manufacturing or engineering sectors, this opportunity offers the perfect platform to leverage your expertise and develop within a dual site Management Accountant role.

What you will be doing In this role, you will be producing and analysing management information to support informed decision-making across the business. You will collaborate with various teams, providing insight into project costs, margins, and forecast accuracy, whilst playing an integral part in the ongoing development of financial processes.

Develop and review work centre cost rates, stock valuations, and product costing reports. Analyse variances in volume, margin, and cost to communicate key insights to management. Assist in the preparation of month-end management accounts and statutory reporting. Conduct margin reviews, providing strategic recommendations for pricing and cost control. Undertake capital expenditure appraisals, including project analysis and post-completion reviews. Support budgeting and forecasting activities, monitoring actuals against budgets. Prepare reports on operational efficiencies and process improvements. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, fostering positive relationships and influencing decisions. What we are looking for The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with solid experience in management accounting within manufacturing or engineering environments, coupled with a recognised qualification. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential to succeed in this role.

AAT Qualified and/or ACCA/CIMA part qualified Proven experience in costing, management accounts, and financial analysis. Experience with ERP systems Exceptional Excel skills and proficiency with MS Office tools. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders. Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
