Management Accountant

Description

Due to expansion, my client is recruiting for a hands-on Management Accountant to join their head office team of a successful and fast-growing, family-run holiday park business! This role is a hands on all round approach to accounts, it's important that the right person for the role has experience across all levels of accounts. Based on the outskirts of Blackpool this role is easily commutable from the Fylde Coast, Preston and Lancaster.

As the Management Accountant

Track and report on income and expenses Produce monthly management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) Analyse financial performance and explain variances Submit VAT returns and assist with tax reporting Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger entries Support month-end and year-end close processes Manage and process supplier and customer invoices Maintain financial records in accounting software (e.g. Xero) Assist with internal reporting for senior management Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures Help improve financial processes and controls Liaise with other departments to support financial decision-making The successful Management Accountant will be ideally qualified (CIMA / ACCA) although QBE candidates will be considered.
