MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT BURNLEY PERMANENT

Up to GBP50,000 DOE

Full time: 40hr per week (fully office based)

You will be

Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, taking responsibility of the day-to-day financial operations of the organisationManaging payroll function for staff and playersPreparing and submitting VAT returnsProducing monthly management accounts with commentary and analysisPreparing annual budgets and conducting cashflow forecasting and analysisEnsuring compliance with EFL regulations, including all required submissions and reportingSupervising and supporting the bookkeeperOverseeing matchday ticketing operations, including system management and reconciliationsLiaising with club directors, auditors, and external bodies You will have

Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environmentConfident senior finance professional with demonstrable experience across both practice and industry (preferred)Experience using various financial software along with MS Excel (Sage preferred)Willing and flexible to work outside standard hours during home fixtures Benefits include; competitive holiday package, free on site parking, pension scheme, company social events and much more
