Management Accountant

Norwich (Hybrid)

Salary: GBP36,000+ per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part qualified Management Accountant to join a well-established and forward-thinking organisation. This role is ideal for someone who is progressing through their studies and keen to build on their technical accounting experience within a supportive finance team.

Based in modern offices in Norwich with excellent transport links and parking, this position offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across the finance function and develop the skills needed to support future qualification and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting schedulesSupport with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisReview reconciliations, journals, and balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and complianceAssist with audit preparation and respond to queriesManage supplier payments and support wider finance functionsContribute to process improvements to enhance reporting efficiencySupport team development and share best practice across the finance functionLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders, maintaining strong working relationships Essential Skills and Experience

Strong understanding of management accounting and financial reportingExperience with reconciliations, budgeting, and forecastingAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables and lookupsProficient in MS Office SuiteStudying ACCA, CIMA or ACA (or QBE with relevant experience)Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure Desirable

Experience within a large or multi-entity organisationFamiliarity with modern accounting systemsExposure to process improvement or systems implementation projects What's on Offer
